DAGA Architects is a rising design company specialized in co-working space design.<\/strong><\/p>\n

With the increasing demand of high quality co-working spaces, Daga established its reputation with extensive experiences in co-working space design.<\/p>\n

Founded by internationally renowned architects Ren Xiaowei, Xu Yunfei and Huang Da, DAGA participated in plenty of landmark projects around the globe. In mere 4 years, DAGA had worked with UClub in designing 12 co-working spaces and 6 shared apartments.<\/p>\n

Its excellence was recognized by famous architectural niche sites like gooood, archdaily, and design boom. DAGA projects frequently topped in international architectural competitions. One of its projects \u201cGrinding Factory 5Lmeet\u201d won the Gold Award at the 2019 Italian A\u2019Design Competition and Gold Award at the 5th China Real Estate & Design Award. Another project \u201cDongsi 5Lmeet\u201d won the \u201cExpert Evaluation Award\u201d and \u201cJury Winners & Popular Choice Winners\u201d at the 7th American Architizer A+Awards in the co-working office space category.<\/p>\n

The Essence of DAGA<\/strong><\/p>\n

The essence of DAGA is the combination of \u201cdesign, technique and technology\u201d. The goal is to create urban renewal space at multiple dimensions while valuing user experience and the variety of new space functions.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Beside working on hands-on design projects, UClub and DAGA developed a standardized construction process for designing co-working spaces to improve overall efficiency of the industry. Daga was also involved in developing building technologies like building scanning \u2013 using three-dimensional spatial data on terrain or complex objects acquired through non-contact high-speed laser scanning measurement in the form of array point clouds. This state-of-the-art technology can be applied to the study of urban renewal spaces.<\/p>\n

DAGA Architect’s Footprint<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are now two DAGA Architects offices in Beijing and Shanghai respectively. DAGA has participated in 45 urban renewal projects in 17 cities in China and abroad, with a project area of 550,000 square meters. In 2018, DAGA inked contracts worth RMB 30 million, and collected RMB 16 million. It is expected that Daga will grow by more than 30% in 2019.<\/p>\n
